Old friend Peter (our next-door neighbor and colleague in Nigeria) went flying with me and got some stick time low over the James River, east of Hopewell, VA. After a while we ran into light rain on the edge of a thunderstorm. Later we did a couple of power-off no-flap stalls and a mild wingover before landing on the river and taking off again. After the camera's memory filled up, we landed back at the same airport from which we took off 1.9 hours earlier.
